This is a hilarious minute and a half video that targets modern Christian thoughts about being a Christian single. I hope you all watch and enjoy it, and then I'd love to hear if it challenges you (whether you're single or married) to think differently. For example, as a single, does your inner motivation match your outer behavior? Or, as a married woman, do you feign contentment about something else? All of us, does our interaction with each other go beyond religious cliches and metaphors? Think about it and share!

Where can I hear all of this.
Just what I need to hear at this time
for my single.
God's timing is perfect.
Good stuff here. Light but at the same time very weighty. I find it interesting that you should post this today because tomorrow Tim will be preaching about contentment from Phil 4:11 (postponed from last week). Discontentment is not found only in singles. Many of us do as Mark does in this video clip. We say we are content in God, yet all the while we are searching for one more possession, a better relationship, another pat on the back or another dollar added to our bank account.
Tomorrow we will also be hearing from our good friend Sarah Edwards as she wrote to her children about the death of Jonathan. Her words stir me and cause me to wonder how content I will be if the Lord should take Tim from me. I do pray I will find God to be enough. But if God is to be enough at that time, He must be enough now.
Can you tell me where I can hear the rest of this message? I am struggling with being content right now and this is exactly what I needed to hear. I am laughing threw it with tears in my eyes because it is so true of my behavior. Thank you again for this!!
I actually can't find the whole message online. Supposedly it's at songofsolomon.com, but I couldn't find it there except as a part of a $150 series. Sorry!!
